Sony Camera Donation

MyBlock is honored to announce a substantial donation of video cameras from Sony Corporation of America. Sony cameras will go directly into the hands of young filmmakers across NYC, enabling them to discover their artistic voice and explore communities through video.

Many schools lack the technical resources needed to bring a video literacy course to their students. Our new videos cameras will be instrumental in strengthening the arts in under-resourced schools and exposing students to an art form that is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s society.

These cameras birth a new generation of storytellers and ensure that NYC’s youngest and most creative citizens have their voice heard.
